The Crane is one of the machines in babel tower. It gets unlocked at floor 1.
The crane is used to transport bricks to the top of the babel tower. It is also the only machine that cannot be upgraded in idle tower builder. Even though you can buy 2 lift engines that make the crane much much faster to carry stones to the top, the crane itself cannot be upgraded.
You need planks to build your crane higher.
